Welcome to SolarTube! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SolarTube application and services. By using SolarTube, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SolarTube, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
SolarTube is a privacy-focused music streaming platform that provides:
- Ad-free music streaming
- Zero tracking or data collection
- A commitment to user privacy
Coming Soon: We're building toward full decentralization, which will give you complete ownership of your data and listening experience. We're also preparing to launch on Seeker by Solana Mobile—bringing private music streaming to the decentralized mobile ecosystem.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
- Interfere with the service's operation
- Upload malicious content or malware
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Harass other users or SolarTube staff
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
5. Intellectual Property
The SolarTube application, branding, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. Music content is licensed from respective rights holders. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without authorization.
6. Privacy
Your privacy is fundamental to SolarTube. Our Privacy Policy details how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your data. In short: no ads, no tracking, no data harvesting.
7. Decentralization Coming Soon
As SolarTube transitions to a decentralized architecture:
- Service delivery may shift to distributed networks
- Smart contracts may govern certain features
- Token-based features may be introduced
- These Terms will be updated to reflect decentralized operations
We'll provide advance notice of significant changes and give you the opportunity to review updated terms.
8. Solana Mobile & Seeker Coming Soon
SolarTube will be available on the Seeker device by Solana Mobile. When using SolarTube on Seeker:
- These Terms remain in effect
- Additional Solana Mobile dApp store terms may apply
- Wallet-based features will be subject to blockchain network terms
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep SolarTube available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
SolarTube is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolarTube shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Termination
You may stop using SolarTube at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as our service evolves, particularly as we implement decentralization. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.
